Non-Profit Organizations That Foster Entrepreneurism In Colorado
The Rockies Venture Club is a volunteer, nonprofit organization that holds monthly meetings designed to bring together entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and related service providers in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.
The Rockies Venture Club also has a Northern Colorado Branch that meets every few months in Ft. Collins.
The Peak Venture Group is a membership-based organization that supports entrepreneurs in Southern Colorado.
The Colorado Venture Capital Association is the trade association for venture capital companies.
TiE Rockies is solely focused on providing a platform for networking and mentorship in the interests of nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit. TiE-Rockies, is part of the Global TiE Network comprising of entrepreneurs and professionals spread across the globe in various walks of life.
The Fort Collins Incubator was formed in May of 1998 with a central purpose in mind--to locally grow good paying jobs. The Fort Collins Economic Development Corporation, the City of Fort Collins, and Colorado State University cooperatively created this non profit program and continue to support its operations.
SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is a non-profit organization dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. It was founded in 1964. SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 11,500 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration
