What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser and store certain information across page loads.
Cookies we use
ColoradoAccountants.com uses essential cookies only. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
| Cookie | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| sb-auth-token | Session | Supabase authentication — stores your login session for the admin panel. Not set for regular visitors. |
| find-cpa-dismissed | Session storage | Remembers whether you have closed the Find a CPA popup in the current browser session. Cleared when you close the tab. |
Google Maps cookies
When you view a CPA results map on the /find-cpa/results page, the Google Maps JavaScript API is loaded. Google may set its own cookies (such as NID, CONSENT) as part of rendering the map. These are set by Google, not by us. Please review Google’s Privacy Policy for details.
The map only loads if you reach the results page after submitting a zip code search, so Google cookies are not set during ordinary browsing of the directory.
What we do NOT use cookies for
- We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies (no Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.).
- We do not use analytics cookies (no Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
- We do not track your browsing across other websites.
How to opt out or manage cookies
You can control or delete cookies using your browser settings. Common instructions:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking essential cookies may affect your ability to use the admin panel if you are a listed professional who has claimed their profile. It will not affect general browsing of the directory.
