Agreement to terms

By accessing or using ColoradoAccountants.com (“the Site”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Site is operated by the site owner trading as ColoradoAccountants.com (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

Use of the directory

You may use the Site to:

• Search for licensed accounting professionals in Colorado
• View publicly available license information
• Contact professionals via their listed details
• Claim or upgrade a listing you are entitled to

You must not:

• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract directory data
• Use the Site for unsolicited marketing to listed professionals
• Submit false information in any form
• Attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation

Accuracy of listing data

Listing data is sourced from the Colorado Division of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) and the IRS Return Preparer Office (RPO) — two authoritative public databases. We update records periodically, but we cannot guarantee that any listing reflects the real-time status of a license.

You should always verify a professional’s credentials independently before engaging their services. See our Disclaimer for full details. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by DORA or the IRS.

No warranty on recommendations

The Site is a directory only. We do not endorse, recommend, or vouch for any listed professional. A listing does not constitute a referral, and we accept no liability for any professional relationship formed between a user and a listed accountant. You engage any professional entirely at your own risk.

Paid listing terms

Enhanced and Featured listings are available on a monthly subscription basis. By purchasing a paid tier you agree that:

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid.
• Listing enhancements (phone, website, contact form) are live within one business day of payment.
• We reserve the right to remove a listing that violates these Terms without refund.

Cancellation policy

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account or by contacting us at contact@coloradoaccountants.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law.

Intellectual property

The Site’s design, code, copy, and compilation of directory data are the property of ColoradoAccountants.com. The underlying license data is public information sourced from government databases. You may not reproduce or redistribute the compiled directory without prior written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ColoradoAccountants.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information contained within it. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
