Who we are
ColoradoAccountants.com is an independent online directory of licensed accounting professionals in Colorado, operated by the site owner trading as ColoradoAccountants.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). Our contact address is contact@coloradoaccountants.com.
What data we collect and why
We collect the following personal data:

The lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests (delivering search results you requested) and performance of a contract (paid listing subscriptions). Where you submit a contact or claim form, we rely on your consent given by voluntarily submitting the form.
How long we keep your data
- Search sessions — deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Lead records (name, email, zip from the popup) — retained for up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Claim requests — retained for the duration of the listing relationship, then deleted within 90 days of account closure.
- Contact form messages — retained for up to 2 years for correspondence records.
- Payment records — retained for 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping obligations.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party processors:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Resend — used to deliver transactional emails (search results, claim notifications). Processes email addresses only. See Resend Privacy Policy.
- Google Maps / Geocoding API — used on the results page to display a map and calculate distances. Zip codes you enter are sent to Google for geocoding. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — payment processing for Enhanced and Featured listing subscriptions. We share only what is necessary to complete your transaction. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — website hosting. Access logs (IP addresses, browser info) may be retained for up to 30 days. See Vercel Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
